Tales of a domestic goddess in bondage: August 2009

Every day I tell myself I'm going to blog. And then I end up on Hulu watching season 1 of Lost instead. What's up with that? Might as well face it, I'm addicted to Lost.

The things that bind me

I call myself a Domestic Goddess in Bondage. Why? Because while I have a deep desire to be all I can be in the kitchen and keep my floors sparkling, I am bound by my children. Too often we discount the need to take inventory of our day and ask ourselves if we've played enough. I have to remind myself daily that bubbles and play-doh are amazing! So if you peer beyond the faces in my photos and ask yourself, 'why does she call herself a domestic goddess? Look at that mess!' then you may want to go out and get yourself a gallon of bubbles and several tubs of play-doh. Fun is the new clean.
